And what better day to launch this than the first day of Black History Month, a time dedicated to honoring the incredible contributions of Black individuals throughout history and recognizing the ongoing fight for freedom and equality.
Harriet’s Escape is a historical fantasy that reimagines the legendary Harriet Tubman as a fierce heroine in a world of shapeshifting dragons and mythical creatures. This campaign is not just about bringing a new, exciting audiobook to life—it's about making a lasting impact. Through this Kickstarter, I aim to fund the creation of the audiobook, a new cover designed to engage high school and college-age students, and to donate copies of Harriet’s Escape to schools, libraries, and community centers.
