STANLEY JENKINS JR.
As a native Marylander, Stanley Jenkins Jr. obtained a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies from Morgan State University, a Master of Arts in history from the same institution, and a Master of Arts in theology from St. Mary’s Seminary and University. These premier Maryland institutions of higher learning reflect Stanley’s dual passions for critical thinking and historical investigation. While Stanley has served in various law enforcement positions, he most excels when using his knowledge and skills to promote, support, and advance the intellectual growth of others. Stanley currently serves as the Community Engagement Research Fellow for the Center for the Study of Religion and the City (CSRC) at Morgan State University, where he provides logistical support for various colloquia, podcasts, tours, and guest lectures. Stanley maintains collaborative relationships with the CSRC’s local community partners and develops independent projects that encompass but are not limited to the History of the Black Church in Baltimore City.
